If you own a website or want to build one you may know that traffic is an important aspect to consider, It is crucial learning how to get traffic to a website. having a lot of visitors is the main goal for website’s owners, the reason why we create content, upload images and design our website is because at the end we want people to see it, right?.

There are tons of ways to lead traffic to a website and one of the most used and effective is SEO. Many bloggers and website’s owners (including myself) love SEO.

What is SEO?

SEO is one of the most powerful and organic ways to rank a website in the first pages of Google, Yahoo and Bing, A website will get more traffic when is closer to the first pages of these 3 main internet browsers .

Keywords are the core of SEO. Every single page and/or post of your website will be ranked depending on their  keywords for example,  if you type in google “how to train my dog” a list of websites will come up and you can see the “how to train my dog” keywords are placed in the description, title or link.

how to train my dog

To find the right keyword that will rank your pages faster in the very first positions of the main browsers,  you will need to do a detailed research on competition and traffic, that sounds like too much work but thankfully there are many keyword research tools that do the hard work for you,

    Hi Mario:

I enjoyed reading your article on the three top choices for SEO keyword research. Jaxxy is recommended very highly as one of the programs that works well for those who are wanting to know exactly where they rank. It is owned by the same owner as Wealthy Affiliate, the best affiliate training program on the market.

SemRush is also very good and one that Jay, another Wealthy Affiliate leader recommends and uses. Although it does with a hefty price tag.

Google keyword planner is also great. I have used it myself and been happy with it.

Other recommendations I can make is if you do join Wealthy Affiliate, you can be given access to what is known as the Keyword Tool. That is included in both of the free and premium membership of WA.

Also, have you heard of Moz com. That is another SEO tool that is on the market and is highly recommended by others. In addition, there is a Google Chrome Moz bar that you can download and use for free.

Great article. Thank you for sharing your expertise.

Jaxxy is a great tool for keyword research. I’ve never come across SEMrush before. How long is SEMrush’s free trial? You did make a typo towards the end of the article. It should be “feel free” instead of “fell free”. Just want your site to look as great as the content. Good work.

There’s a joke you may have heard. If you want to hide a body put it on page two of google.

Keywords are so important for ranking and the tools you mention are right up there.

All the best tools on line usually have a free trial period and that is important to me. I have never use semrush or Google but I may give them a try.

Is Jaaxy your favorite tool to use for keywords or do you use them all? SEO helps get the ranking and good tools help you get there.

That’s a good joke never heard of it but it’s so true, you can’t expect to have high quality visitors on your website if you don’t apply SEO to rank your it on google, I love Jaaxy and at the moment it’s the only keyword tool I use, cheers!
